Unexpectedly! Back in The Netherlands + Update about my sister

Sunday evening I got a call from my father telling me: ‘Your sister is in the hospital and she is fighting for her life.’

At that moment, The World stops running for a while and I only wanted one thing: to be there for her.

Last Friday I unexpectedly flew back to the Netherlands after having lived in Bali for 8 months.

In my video I give an update on how my sister is doing now and how my journey went.

Update Bali

For eight months I enjoyed a free life in Bali, but the atmosphere there has changed in recent weeks. Soldiers came from Jakarta to impose a lockdown and push vaccinations.

Some roads were impassable for unvaccinated people. This brought a different atmosphere to Bali.

Plans in The Netherlands

Many people now ask me ‘What are you going to do in the Netherlands?’ I have only just landed in the Netherlands and have no plans yet.

I don’t even know where I want to live. Probably it’s for a reason that life brought me back to the Netherlands.

In any case: I’m happy to be with my family and support my sister during her recovery. That’s the most important for me right now.
